About Us

I use one system based on RKC Kettlebell training, Powerlifting and Olympic lifting with speed, strength, and conditioning workouts to train between 400 and 500 athletes every semester in 25 different male and female sports. For years now, I have trained 1000’s of athletes in every IHSAA & Club Sport including over 100 All-State Athletes and those that have went on to compete at the collegiate level.

We have a simple but effective program for training athletes to give them everything they need for improved fitness and sports performance.

Our program has proven successful for male and female athletes of every sport.

No gimmicks, just sound tried and true methods that delivers RESULTS!

What makes our program so different? The main principle is that we train movements and not muscle groups, our body is a machine and should be trained as a unit. Basic kettlebell exercises, along with the Olympic lifts, are the biggest and most athletic movements in existence. These are the best exercises to give a complete package of loaded movements that stress the whole body in exactly the patterns that get used in sports and in life. Most lifts will be done on the feet and all lifts will strengthen the core. It is critical to the athlete’s success that they master these movements through persistant and patient practice.

Kettlebells and Olympic lifting are not my only exercise tools, we do utilize many other methods of training in our system. Having said that I am a HUGE believer in their effectiveness and efficiency in helping athletes of all ages and fitness levels reach their goals.

At the School Of Strength you will see numerous full-body exercises that improve strength, endurance, speed, coordination and flexibility. With kettlebells, olympic platforms, medicine balls, sandbags, power racks, bench presses, pull-up bars, fat bars, elite rings for suspension training, thick battling ropes, thick ropes to pull, speed & conditioning sleds, tires, foam rollers, speed and agility ladders, hurdles, cones, jump ropes, plyoboxes, and over 1,000 square feet of turf, you’ll always find something new and challenging to push your strength, speed, and conditioning to the next level.

Why should YOU become a Member of the School of Strength?
  • Because we deliver extreme all-round fitness and no other facility does it better. If you are overweight, you will lean out. If you are skinny, you will build up. We will fix your body composition, whichever way it needs fixing.  For guys who want to build big muscles you can do that. The program that we use (sets, reps, nutrition, etc.) will decide what happens to your body.
  • Our athletes run faster, jump higher, & perform at their sports better from being in the program.
  • We strengthen joints, rather than pound on them and weaken them.
  • We train every muscle in multiple planes of motion in ways that conventional weightlifting and machines cannot.
  • We balance anterior and posterior muscle chains, stabilizers along with movers: nothing is over-or under-developed (common to runners and traditional weight-training, and yes - this leads to injury).
  • The carryover to every athletic movement and/or performance and strength-based activity is second-to-NONE.
  • The benefit of training with proper form, under our professional guidance, is truly amazing. Virtually all of life's day to day activities are enhanced significantly.
  • Our training simultaneously builds strength, speed, and flexibility while providing an amazing cardio workout. 60 minutes of training 3 days per week will absolutely change your life and your body!
